Robert Kopecky

Robert Kopecky's story and perspective are rather unique than most. From crashing into a utility pole in his 20's, to going numb after a night out, to being knocked unconscious with a crowbar, Robert has had a brush with death enough times to pick a thing or two on the concept of life and death.

Having traveled different paths in his lifetime—including years of research—Robert engages us in an interesting light-hearted conversation where he shares some nuggets of experiential wisdom regarding finding our purpose in life.

Key Topics Discussed

  • Near-Death Experiences are custom made to a person’s unique circumstances or karma. “Each of my NDEs were very relevant to the point in my life where I was.”

  • Having a spiritual perspective, whereby “you’re not too tightly wound into everything in your mind, moment, or culture.” Finding meaning in life through the little things such as being present in relationships.

  • Details of each of his 3 NDE's – including how he felt a sense of peace, seeing a radiant illumination, the sensation that there was an entity behind him, and seeing his life reviewed in a ‘time box’ in this other realm.

  • According to Robert, Heaven is not a location—but a state of being. It is here and now. We all have the opportunity to live a heavenly life here on earth. “We live in this eternal moment. This is where our opportunities are. This is where we remove the obstacles to love.” - Finding the “flow” in your life. “If you’re tired of rowing upstream, turn around.”

  • Back-to-back discussion on enjoying life and having an alternative perspective to the inevitable concept of death. “The soul requires death to experience heaven.”

  • “We are these diaphanous, luminous, energetic beings that just happen to be connected to these vehicles right now.” (Robert Kopecky).

  • The importance and role of meditation in Robert’s quest to finding answers and meaning. We’re not alone. Someone (a guardian angel) is watching.
